Herschel B. Patel, MD

Herschel Patel, MD, a Texas native, is board-certified surgeon and completed fellowship training in advanced head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery at Creighton University. His practice combines traditional head and neck cancer surgery with advanced reconstructive surgery of the throat, face, jaw, and all structures of the head and neck.
Dr. Patel specializes in the surgery for both benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck including the throat, face, thyroid, parathyroid, skin, and parotid. He also specializes in minimally-invasive transoral removal of tumors and microvascular free flap reconstruction. He has been a member of the American Head & Neck Society (AHNS) since 2022.
